i Dear Juffrou,
I have a German student (Grade 8) who has just started learning Afrikaans.
I have found your starting grades in Afrikaans very helpful. However, what I do want to know, do you have exercises the student can do for Afrikaans homework. I have given him the “Trappe van Vergelyking”: Teenoorgestldes, Geslagte and all the Woordlyse with Klanke that I could. He attends school in the mornings and comes to me for extra lessons twice a week.
I would like to test him on the work learnt – and that is why I am trying to find out about Afrikaans Grade 1 to 8 exercise sheets, if you do have any. Of course he has to read some Afrikaans books as well – and your lists have been very helpful. Thank you for a very professional guide you have produced.
Vicky.

Hallo, Vicky 😉 You could also type in words like “flits, hersien, e klink soos i, verkleinwoord, f en v, leeslys, lees, sigwoord, rympie, storie, leesreeks…JNA, vraestel” into the search block down the righthand side of this blog. There are more links to printable workbooks, worksheets and question papers listed under the headings “geletterdheid/taal”, “hulpmiddels” and “vraestel” on the right. If you move the cursor over the words, it should give you more details such as the grade level. I hope this would be helpful 😉
